Fees.  SJ’s current fee is $250 a session.  

Appointments. Appointments are 50-minutes long. Sessions are on a weekly or fortnightly basis, and after the initial few sessions, a regular ongoing appointment time will be offered to you. Appointments are in-person at Spring Hill, Brisbane, or via Telehealth by request. 

SJ is currently available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Rebates. You will be eligible to access a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. Do note that longer-term psychotherapy work will likely extend past the 10 sessions supported by Medicare.

You may also be eligible for rebates from your private health insurance provider. Contact your insurance provider to find out more.

Referrals. Self-referrals are welcome, and a clinical diagnosis is not necessary. However, do note you will not be entitled to a Medicare rebate for privately funded sessions.

Cancellation Policy.  At least 48 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule, and fees apply.
