SJ is a clinical psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist based in Brisbane, Australia. She received her doctorate at The University of Queensland, with her research on brain stimulation to study age-related differences in the neural correlates of information-processing capacity limits. 

She has previous clinical experience in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospital environments, private practice, and rehabilitation units. Outside of private practice, SJ works as a neuropsychologist in a psychiatric hospital within a forensic setting. In her role, she completes cognitive, capacity and forensic risk assessments for patients.
